I hate sharing Harold. Typically I am really great at sharing, but sharing Harold is hard for me.
I want to be super important to him. I want him to want to spend all of his time with me. It’s weird…I know, but I love being around him.
I think this is exactly how God see’s us. It is hard for him to sit back and not be first, not be important over everyone, and everything else.
The 1st step in developing the right priorities is to assign God 1st place in your life.
I’ve also realized that the other things should not even become a close second. They really shouldn’t be comparable to a God who is incomparable, and indescribable.
Put Him first today, and all the other things in your list will fall into perfect alignment.
Prayer: “God, thank you for loving me so much that you want to be number one in my life. I pray that none of the other things that matter in my life ever come close to your importance. In your name I pray, Amen.”
