Farmers continue to learn about ways to improve water quality

Having safe water to drink is not only important to Iowans but the nation. Recently, more and more farmers across the state have been adopting conservation practices to reduce runoff of nitrates into the drinking water. Sean McMahon with the Iowa Agriculture Water Alliance says farmers are scaling up practices in a number of ways. McMahon adds it?s something also good for profitability. I spoke with McMahon at the Iowa Pork Congress earlier this month in Des Moines.
